These terms describe what you can expect from a stay at ChiMano House and what we ask of our guests in return. They are intended to keep the home, the orchard and the experience peaceful for everyone who stays here.
Bookings and confirmation
- All stays begin with an enquiry, followed by a confirmation conversation over phone, email or WhatsApp.
- A booking is treated as confirmed only after written confirmation is received from ChiMano House.
- Rates, deposit requirements and payment terms are shared at the time of confirmation. Prices are not published on the website.
Check-in and check-out
- Standard check-in and check-out timings are shared along with your booking confirmation.
- Early check-ins and late check-outs are possible by prior arrangement, subject to availability.
- A valid government-issued ID is required for every adult guest at check-in.
Guests and visitors
- The booking covers the number of guests confirmed in writing. Any change in numbers should be communicated before arrival.
- Day visitors are welcome with prior intimation. Overnight stays for unregistered guests are not permitted.
- Small private family gatherings may be permitted on a case-by-case basis, with prior approval.
Behaviour and care of the property
- ChiMano House is a private home. We ask guests to treat it with the same care they would extend to their own.
- Loud music, late-night gatherings or behaviour that disturbs the surrounding neighbourhood is not permitted.
- Damage to property, furnishings or the orchard caused by negligence may be charged at actual replacement cost.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Open flames or fireworks are not permitted on the property.
Meals and caretaker services
- The full-time caretaker can prepare home-cooked meals based on the preferences shared in advance.
- Ingredients are arranged either by the caretaker or with help from the grocery store outside the gate.
- Additional meal charges, where applicable, are communicated upfront.
Children, elderly guests and pets
- The home and compound are suitable for children and elderly guests. Parental supervision is required around the orchard and outdoor areas.
- Pets are considered case-by-case. Please mention your pet when you enquire so we can confirm what is possible.
Liability
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the stay.
- ChiMano House is not liable for any loss, theft or accident on the premises, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.
- By staying at ChiMano House, guests agree to these terms and to follow any specific instructions shared by the caretaker.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. The version applicable to your stay is the one in effect on the date your booking is confirmed.
